The environmental management system of Taita Segment Insulation has been assessed and certified to meet the requirements of ISO14001:2004. We endeavour to minimize the negative effects on the precious environment by our efficient operations, energy-saving processes and green products.
BRANZ Appraisal

Taita has accredited BRANZ Appraisal for Segment (Batts) product in 2022. BRANZ Appraisals are independent assessments of building products, materials, systems, or methods of design or construction in the Australian and New Zealand markets. BRANZ also ensures quality assurance in both products and production procedures. Our New Zealand Distributor – PIL has also obtained BRANZ Appraisal for Blanket product since 2006. All tests are conducted in accordance with AS/NZS 4859.1.

Green Building Material Green Mark

Taita has obtained the Green Building Material for our Taita glass fiber since 2010.
Green Building Material is defined as “the materials which have the minimum load on the earth environment and produce no harm to the human health in the process of raw material acquirement, product manufacturing, application as well as the cycle of regeneration and reuse are collectively called the Green Building Material” by the international academic circles in 1992.
